There are ferries to Ermioni from Piraeus all year round. In fact, ferries to Ermioni depart 3-4 times per day from Piraeus, the main port of Athens. The trip takes 2h30 and this ferry also connects Ermioni to other destinations in the Saronic Gulf, such as Poros, Spetses and Hydra.
Ermioni is about 3 hours drive from Athens. You follow the highway from Athens to Corinth and after you pass the Corinth Canal, you continue to Ermioni. After the Canal, the road is narrow and only one line per direction.
Buses to Ermioni from Athens pass through Kranidi, a small town in the region of Argolida. In particular, visitors have to take the bus from Kifissos Bus Station in Athens to Kranidi and from Kranidi, there are local buses to Ermioni.
