Another example is the monastery of Agii Anargyri, dating between the 9th and the 11th century. This monastery was built on the site where the foundations of the Temple of Asklepios used to lay.

In fact, the origins of Ermioni date back from over 2000 years ago, which explains the great number of buildings and ruins scattered all over the area. The chapel of St Ermioni on the top of Pronos hill has a similar history. The architectural style of this building is typically Greek.

influenced by the Turkish and Byzantine styles. Examples of the great elaboration of buildings are not limited to the wealthiest parts of Greece.

One such example is the church of Taxiarchon, dating from the 9th century, although it was redecorated some centuries later.
