There is no airport in Epidaurus. The closest airport is the International Airport of Athens that receives domestic and international flights all year round. From Athens, visitors can rent a car or take the bus to Epidaurus.
There is a good road network connecting Athens to Epidaurus. After you pass the Corinth Canal, you follow the signs to Epidarus. After Corinth, the road is narrow and has only one line per direction. The road trip from Athens to Ancient Epidaurus site is 2 hours.
There are KTEL buses to Epidaurus departing from Kifissos Bus Station in Athens and from Nafplion Peloponnese. There are also buses to Epidaurus in summer weekends, when there are theatre performances in Epidaurus.
