is no airport on the island of Elafonissos.
The nearest airport is on the neighbouring Kythira island, which receives mainly domestic flights from Athens.
From Kythira, you take the boat to Neapoli, Laconia. The trip from Kythira to Neapoli takes about 2 hours. From Neapoli, you take a taxi to Pounta, 10 km away. From there, you take the ferry to Elafonissos.
The trip from Pounta to Elafonissos takes about 30 minutes. There are frequent itineraries and the ferries work from early in the morning till the evening. |
