The Beaches of Elafonissos
 Elafonissos is famous for its magnificent beaches of pure exotic beauty, which constitute an attraction for visitors of the area. The famous beach of Simos on the south of the island, right opposite to Kythira island, is characterized by the emerald color of the sea water and endless golden-white sand. In August, the beach gets full of the white lilies, the sea-flowers, that create an incredible picture.
