Peloponnese: rediscovering Greece

This special honor is a perfect opportunity to reconsider Greece as a sole island destination – and to help you, we have gathered the places where one can experience the unique beauty and atmosphere of the Peloponnesian land:

#Nafplio

Once the nation’s first capital, Nafplio is a famous destination both among locals and foreigners; its picturesqueness is irresistible, and a stroll between the backstreets and the neoclassic buildings will travel you to another era. Tolo and Leonidio are also highly preferred, and a drive through the euphoric land of Argos will amaze you with its beauty. Do not miss the chance to watch a play at the ancient theatre of Epidaurus, it will certainly be an experience of a lifetime.

#Laconia

The Spartans had chosen their location wisely; the laconic land is famous for the fortresses of Mystra near Sparti as well as the unique castle town of Monemvasia in the southern edge of the continent. The region of Mani with its rocky landscape and towers is a wonder to the eye and one of the most peculiar landscapes of Greece, alluring visitors with its raw beauty.
