 ART ATHINA 2008 was inaugurated yesterday with the participation of 300 Greek and foreign artists and at least 44 art galleries. It is the 14th international meeting of modern art showrooms, which this year is dynamic and fresh.
8,000 sq.m. of HELEXPO exhibition centre, Athens, are hosting the meeting until 25 May, where visitors will have the chance to enjoy Greek and European galleries and meet the artists personally.
The opening was made yesterday afternoon by Greek Culture Minister Michalis Liapis.
