Born In Chios 1961,
English dad & Greek mum-my parents travelled a great deal,so only spent Summer holidays(a la "Gerald Durrell") there until 10yrs old.Mostly in Emporios.
Best times of my life.
Went back in 2006 after 30 yrs absence and was overjoyed to find that little had changed ,went back again in 2007 and bought some land.
Will go back again in August, its become my homeland again.
Would reccomend it to anyone who needs peace & tranquility & warm friendly people.
(Not however -a place to go clubbing , thank -God.)
