Alonissos is an ideal holiday place, dressed in blue and green colors. My favorite and most peaceful village we visited was Votsi. Votsi is a small harbor, fishing village, overlooking the green crystal water. The harbor is surrounded, almost hugged from gray-yellow cliffs. Many Greek restaurants... More >
A long 10-hour trip will get you to Kos. The trip is nice but after the first 4-5 hours, it was getting tiring. We didn't have a cabin and as it was night, we couldn't even see the islands passing by. I advice you to take the day ferry, the trip will be more enjoyable.
Kos is the island of... More >
Most known place in Lassithi is Elouda. If you get there, then Spinaloga is only 15 minutes away, reachable by small boats. That small island is perfect to spend your day in and explore the small hidden beaches. Usually, you find many tourists there who take the excursion boat. There is a strong... More >
It was our first time to Naxos (although we had been to other Cyclades islands before) so we decided to rent a car and travel to as many more villages and beaches as we could! As part of Cyclades, Naxos keeps the architecture of the islands and the white/ blue painted houses, along with the small... More >

You cannot visit Paros and not even pass by Naoussa. Naoussa is a beautiful village, located on a huge bay, in northern Paros. As you can easily understand from the hundreds of boats at the bay, this is a fishing place.
Wherever you go in Naoussa, bay, narrow streets, churches, beach, still... More >

Amorgos is a part of the island group called Cyclades, so it keeps up the architecture and the culture of Cyclades. Small white houses with blue painted doors and windows, windmills and slip roads that can get you lost in minutes are the main attributes of Amorgos. Very easy to get there from... More >

Chania town is probably the most beautiful town in Crete. Keeping all the Venetian culture and architecture, the buildings give a strange, forgotten and romantic feeling. The Old Town of Chania is divided in many neighborhoods and districts, with many mansions, churches, squares, cafes and... More >

Thessaloniki, or Salonica, is the second biggest city in Greece. If you decide to go by bus, which we did, traveling through the Greek mainland and villages, was a nice experience. Although, for those that prefer the easy way, there are many flights every day.
As we arrived in Thessaloniki, we... More >
Aegina is 1 hour away from Piraeus, by ferry! We got to see her for the first time, on our way to Agistri. The ferry to Agistri has a stop over the port of Aegina for some minutes, on its way to Agistri. The first impression of the island port was so nice, that we visited the place some days after!... We have visited Chios 2 times. Both times, we stayed there for about 15 days, and roamed the villages and the beaches, enough I think to be able to advise you now: Don't miss these 3 places: Mesta, Maura Volia and Komi.
Mesta is a medieval village at the south of the island. All the houses are... More >
We visited Agistri for the first time this summer and we are totally going back soon! We couldn't believe that there is such a greeeeeen place, so close to Piraeus port. The ferry needs only 1 hour and around 15 minutes to reach Agistri, and the ferry itineraries were quite often (at least for... More >
