I'm excited about becoming more involved with Greeka due to my love of Greece which began when I first visited Greece when I was 18. Since then although I have travelled to many different places, it is Greece that holds a special place in my heart. I have returned to Greece many times, sometimes re-visiting places or venturing to a new part of Greece. I am never disappointed with what I find whether it be a fantastic beach, a tranquil setting, a beautiful sunset, great Greek people, an atmospheric church or simply soaking up the atmosphere in a Greek taverna. Maybe I should just live in Greece as i love it so much!!!
Two years ago I travelled around Greece for a month from early September to early October. I wanted to visit new places and tended to stay away from the bigger islands. Most of my photos have been taken from this trip and I hope you enjoy them. I travelled on my own but met alot of brilliant people, some of whom I am still in contact with. However my journey of Greece is far from being over.
Whilst not in Greece!!! I am a teacher. I frequent the gym in order to climb those Greek mountains...joke... and like to dance, watch films and go to live music.
The only negative thing I can say about Greece is that it has limited my desire of seeing different parts of the world because when I have the chance to travel it is always Greece that I tend to return to. Oh well, can't complain.
