This little kalive was just as the last owner had left it .. complete with his bed-roll in the little room which you can see the edge of in this picture. Sadly the roof was leaking badly, and the new owner had to destroy all of this in order to make a habitable dwelling. Even more sadly they burned the traditional Skopolotian corner cupboard because they didn't want it and thought it of no value. Could I ask all of you in Greece to save all you can of your traditional furniture and not to replace it with Ikea products like the rest of us have done? Sell it if you have to, but don't burn it! Enjoy the treasures you have!
