Gerakini is less touristified than other places

Halkidiki Review:
We were invited to a wedding in Thessaloniki and spent an additional week. The beaches are great, and the area in general is friendly. We stayed in Geraniki which is less "touristified" than other places in the area, and we liked that. Historical places were very interesting, but sometimes difficult to find.
We very much enjoyed the local tavernas, and the food was great. A very positive experience. Also the coffee shops and bars were very good.
