Cassandra village Halkidiki: Cassandria is the biggest town of the peninsula, with 25000 inhabitants during the summer, with the surrounding settlements.
It is one of the oldest municipalities of the Halkidiki prefecture and it is the cultural, commercial and administrative centre of the area.
The village flourished in the 16th century and own its name to the King Kassadros of Macedonia. |
