Varkes beach Halkidiki: Varkes is a nice beach close to Afytos, a lovely tourist village in the peninsula of Kassandra Halkidiki. One of the most charming and traditional villages of Halkidiki, Afytos is perched on top of a cliff whose feet are washed by small sandy bays, including the bay of Varkes.

Partly organized and partly secluded, Varkes is nice and safe for families with kids. The surrounding cliffs are lush green and the water is exotic.
