Moudounou beach Halkidiki: Moudounou is actually the beach of Afytos, a lovely village located on the western part of Kassandra peninsula. This 4-kilometer long beach of white sand and crystal clear waters is surrounded by verdant hills. It has organized areas with water sports facilities for scuba diving and fishing.

Although there are beach bars and small taverns on the beachside, there are also some deserted coves at the northern end of the beach for those looking for some peace of mind. The area around the beach is perfect for long hikes into the mountainous countryside and tourists can visit interesting sites, such as the Folklore Museum of Afytos and the ancient quarries of Moudounou.
