Zakynthos: Argassi Zakynthos

Argassi Zakynthos: Argassi village is a beach resort 5 kilometres south of Zakynthos Town, down Mount Skopos. This area is very popular among tourists and attracts many visitors every year.

Because of its proximity to the capital of the island the village has experienced a large development of tourism and the road passing through the village is boarded on both sides by a huge number of hotels, taverns, bars and touristy shops.
A sandy beach extending for a kilometre can be found in Argassi; there visitors can try various water sports.
Many beautiful churches are scattered around the area and are worth-visiting.
