Zakynthos Beaches: Porto Zoro beach in Zakynthos Greece This lovely sandy beach is located 17 kilometres from the capital of Zakynthos and has beautiful and clear waters. A couple of taverns and some rooms for rent can be found behind the beach. Our Impressions: The sand here is not golden but the water is ok. There are some interesting rock formations to the right of the beach. The beach is dominated by a large hotel which has a patch of grass where some choose to sunbathe. The area of sand is quite small and it gets busy here.
