The town of Zakynthos is just lovely. Beautiful squares and neoclassical buildings, cafeterias with excellent views to the castle and many gift shops to stroll around. Volimes is a great village to see the traditional side of Zakynthos. Short houses, nice figures and small alleys. At Volimes, there was a very nice lady that treated us rose spoon sweet and gave us a big smile to fare well. I hope she is fine. All houses were stone, some attached one to another and... More >

Maherado is generally a small and quiet village, except when groups of tourists come to cheer it up. No particular sights, just one of the regular villages of Zakynthos.
