Easy Jet, the biggest British airways company and one of the biggest companies of its kind in Europe, is sending people in Zakynthos next week to examine the possibility to include Zakynthos in its route map that covers many large cities and tourist places all over Europe. This service will be very positive for the island as it will increase tourism and the quality of life for the residents.

Visitors will have the chance to fly to Zakynthos directly from the UK without having to take a charter flight, or book a holiday package through a travel agent, and without even taking a domestic flight from Athens. This will also be very helpful for the many British who are permanently living on the island and who can travel directly to their homeland. 

The representantives of Easy Jet are coming to Zakynthos to discuss with the local authorities the frequency of the flights, the airports in Great Britain and other details.
