In an outstanding Mediterranean landscape of 6000sqm of olive groves situated near the traditionally built village 'Tragaki' only 300m from the most beautiful beaches of the island on the east coast of Zakynthos stands the country farm of the 'Kouros' family, which consists of 5 individual traditionally stone built country houses and the harmonious farm. High standard hospitality meeting the needs of 'today' with respect to 'yesterday'. A combination of yesterday's beauty and simplicity with today's comforts.
ACCOMODATION
Each house has its own unique style. Whichever one we choose, the warmth and cosy atmosphere makes us feel so intimate. The decorative details in the interior take us back to the past. The highly beautiful custom made beds of wood or wrought iron with light fittings and canopies give the essential romantic touch. The vivid traditional colours on the walls, the elegant hanging mirrors and historical gravures of Zante Island are exceptional. As for the linen, the laced curtains and crocheted blankets are tasteful needle worked pieces made by the women of the family.
All five individual cottages are of 100-120sqm and have two storeys. Each cottage comprises of a spacious open plan living room with sitting room, fireplace as well as the dining room area with dining table for 4-8 people and perfectly designed fully equipped kitchen. On the ground floor you can also find an extra bathroom and bedroom with en suite, large verandas all around the house overlooking the private gardens. A wooden staircase leads you up to the first floor which consists of one or two large comfortable bedrooms with single or double beds and en suite bathrooms. Private balconies look out over the surrounding landscape offering panoramic views of the farm and nearby hills.
