The Islet of Agios Nikolaos (or Ai-Nikolas) in Paxi Greece: As you approach at the port of Gaios, you will see a small, green island covering almost the entire entrance. This is the islet of Agios Nikolaos, named after a small chapel that has been built there. Once, this islet was used for the protection of Paxi against enemies and pirates, as a Venetian fortress can be seen on top of it.
