Plakes Beach Paxi: Plakes, on Paxi is a beautiful beach only 500m from Gaios, the capital. Like most in Greece, Plakes is pretty stony, and offers incredible landscapes to admire. It is a very pretty place, covered in dense olive groves and exotic vegetation.

Paxi is famous for producing the best olive oil in the country, so tourists are staying to taste the unique flavor of this oil in our most traditional dishes in the taverns close to Plakes beach. The beach can be reached by bus or on foot.

To swim in its calm waters and to snorkel looking for strange and varied fish are entertaining activities, as well as picnics, hat give the opportunity to feel the breeze of the sea while eating delicious dishes.
