Rocks extend along the two sides of the cove, giving it a private sense, even though yachts may be moored in the waters. Apart from swimming, snorkeling is also popular near the rocks. There are no facilities in Mesovritika area, other than the daytime taverns at Vrika or Voutoumi which are just a five minute stroll on the paths to the sides. They serve meals and also rent sun beds and parasols.
The panoramic sight across the bay is just beautiful with Paxi and the mainland in the distance. Boats can be rented or taxi boats can be used from Gaios, Lakka or Loggos to visit the beaches which attract visitors from Corfu and the mainland.
