Beaches

Most beaches of Paxi can be reached by water-taxis. They are usually small and isolate, although in peak season they can get a bit crowded. Apart from the beaches on Paxi, there are also other picturesque beaches on Antipaxi island.

Logos

Location: Located 8 km to the north of Gaios village
Description: This is a small and picturesque beach close to the port of Logos. Due to this closeness, it gets very crowded.

Kipiadi

Location: Located about 4 km to the north of Gaios village
Description: It is a lerge pebbled coast between Loggos and Gaios. It is mostly accessible by boat since the road that leads there is dirt. It has no facilities.

Harami

Location: Located about 10 km to the north of Gaios village
Description: It is a well-organized beach with sun beds and chances to practise water sports. This beach is actually a bay with calm and clean water.

Levrehio

Location: Located 4 km to the north of Gaios village
Description: This beach is within 5 minutes walking distance from Logos. It is popular among tourists and the locals. Its size is small but its environment is scenic.

Marmari

Location: Located 6 km from Gaios village
Description: Marmari beach is located between Gaios and Logos. It is a tiny pebbled beach worth to visit for its clean waters.

Mogonisi

Location: Located about 3 km to the south of Gaios village
Description: This picturesque beach was once covered with sand and has only recently been created by blowing up nearby cliffs with dynamite.

Plakes

Location: Located 2 km to the south of Gaios
Description: This beach is a very pretty place, covered in dense olive groves and exotic vegetation. It actually consists of a big stone.

Pounda

Location: Located 5 km to the north of Gaios village
Description: Pounda is generally not crowded and can be reached through a track road or by boat. Also many sailing boats usually moor there.

Location: On Antipaxos island
Description: It is a lovely secluded beach that can be reached only by boat. Its coast is sandy and its water crystal clean. It can be the destination for an excursion on Antipaxos.

Voutoumi

Location: On Antipaxos island
Description: It is a nice, sandy beach on the eastern side of Antipaxos. It is ideal for snorkelling and can be accessed by water-taxi from Paxi or boat from Corfu.

Description: It is a pebbled beach close to Logos village. It is partly organized with sun beds and gets quite popular.
