 Gaios is the capital and main port of Paxi island. At the entrance of the port, there is a small green island with the ruins of an old castle on it. Lovely coves with clean water for swimming are located in a walking distance from Gaios. In summer, boats leave frequently from Gaios to the nearby island of Antipaxos with the exotic beaches and the lush green landscape.
