Meganisi has a good local transportation and road network.To go to Meganisi, ferries are available from Nidri, on the opposite coast of Lefkada. These ferries shuttle between Nidri and the port of Spilia, close to Spartochori. It is a 20-minute journey.
Meganisi has got narrow and winding roads connecting its villages. Many small buses and cars run through these roads. Most roads are old and some of them are dirt. For your convenience, you are advised to ride a motorbike, as many roads are narrow. There are various cycle rides and walks
