:: The villages
The villages of Meganisi are quiet and tiny, as the whole island too. Villagers occupy mostly with fishing and agriculture and try to preserve the traditional identity of their settlemets. The capital of Meganisi is Vathi and other two picturesque villages are Katomeri and Spartochori.

:: Beaches
 Compared to its size, Meganisi has many beaches, both pebbled and sandy. They are all clean and almost isolate, as few of them have tourist amenities closeby. On these beaches, you can relax and swim among a picturesque landscape, as the whole of the island is green. The beaches on Meganisi are accessed by boat from Vathi, by motorbike or on foot.

While Meganisi is a tiny island perfect for nature lovers, Lefkada is a big island where you can find any luxury or facility you can wish for in your vacation. Lefkada has large beaches, popular resorts and a fun nightlife to offer to its visitors. Have in mind that Meganisi is connected to Lefkada by ferries from Nydri and the trip take only 20 minutes.
