 Mathraki is the ideal island to relax. Totally isolate and tiny, visitors don't even need a means of transport to get around. All distances can be covered on foot. All beaches in Mathraki are within a walking distance from Chorio, the capital village, or Plakes, the main port of the island. Most coasts in Mathraki are rocky, such as Fyki, Arvanitiko, Kontrakas and Apidies. The only sandy beach is Portello, that amazes visitors with its long size and the blue green water.
