Lefkada Events

The International Watersports Festival "Watersweets Ocean Festival" will take place in Lefkada, from June 27th to July 2nd 2009. This event is organized by the municipality of Apolloni, the prefecture of Lefkada, the Czech Republic, the Lefkada Yacht Club, Watersports SRO and Wildwind Sailing Centre.

This event will include windsurfing sport meeting in various categories (freestyle open championship, slalom open championship and prokids qualifier open slalom). There will also be a two-day sialing event with five open regattas,a classic yacht regatta and a long distance regatta.

Apart from watersport events, there will also be bmx (bicycle motorcross) shows with Greek and Czech riders taking part. Both attendants and athletes can take part in these shows.
