Lefkada: Poros Lefkada

Lefkada Villages: Poros village in Lefkada Poros Lefkada: Poros is located 25 kilometres south of Lefkada Town, on the verdant slopes of a hill descending into the blue sea stands the village of Poros which was built amphitheatrically and has a population of about 300 inhabitants. The village has some beautiful two-storey houses with tile roofs and is surrounded by narrow alleys. The superb church of Analipsi can be found in Poros and houses some fine hagiographies and icons from the 17th century. Two sites are worth-visiting in the area: an old olive press and the remains of a 4th century BC castle.

The small fishing harbour of Micros Yialos and its beautiful beaches are located in the area.
