Lefkada: Skala Gialou Lefkada

Lefkada Skala Gialou: Skala Gialou is a magnificent beach located 6km west of Lefkada Town. One of the most frequented beaches of the island, Skala Gialou is famous for its natural beauty that remains untouched through the years. It distinguishes for the turquoise water, the white sand and the exotic atmosphere. It is surrounded by steep cliffs covered with low vegetation and some trees.

The water is not shallow and after a few meters it gets abruptly deep. Its magnificent rare color favors the ability to view the rich depth. There are some vast rocks spread to the sea adding an extra feature to the extraordinary scenery. The beach is partly organized with umbrellas and sundecks due to the soil formation that creates small hills. Due to its short distance from the main town and some popular resorts, the beach is easily accessed and busy during the summer months.
