Travel to Lefkada, Greece: Travel information on the airports, the flights and the ferries
Lefkada can be reached by plane or by ferry.
 Travel there - Flights
There isn't an airport on Lefkada island. The nearest airport is situated in Aktion, a nearby town, close to Preveza. The airport of Aktion receives domestic flights from Athens and the trip takes about 45 minutes. From Aktion, there are buses, taxis and cars to rent to go to Lefkada.
Travel there - Ferries
There aren't ferries to connect Lefkada with the mainland of Greece. There is only a narrow channel and a bridge to cross by car.
You can also take the bus from Athens, Thessaloniki, Patra or other Greek cities to go to Lefkada. |
