The island
of Lefkada is famous for the perfect weather conditions
it offers for windsurfing and kite surfing. Indeed,
the thermal winds that are blowing during the summer
afternoons in some areas of the island make those
places ideal for those water sports. The two most
windy beaches perfect for those sports are the beautiful
beaches of Vassiliki and Agios Ioannis Frini where
hundreds of windsurfers and kite surfers are doing
spectacular figures and offering a multicoloured
spectacle.
