The island of Lefkada doesn’t have an airport, but the nearest one is located in the nearby town of Aktion, in the mainland, close to Preveza town. The airport of Aktion is 30 minutes drive, about 25 kilometres from the capital of the island (Lefkada Town) and 1 hour drive from the resort of Nidri.

Public buses (KTEL) serve the airport to and from Lefkada town and to and from Nidri village. You can also take a taxi to go from Aktion airport to Lefkada, since taxis will be waiting for you outside the terminal.

The airport of Aktion is domestic and receives only flights from Athens.

Some hotels and apartments to rent offer the transfer to and from the airport by private mini buses or by private cars to their clients.
