Melina Old Houses
This authentic property was originally built in 1864, then rebuilt in 1905, and has now just been fully restored in 2004. The House faces east with beautiful 270 degree views over the Island its mountains, and the area around the village of Konterena. The famous beaches of Lefkada are easily accessible with the nearest beaches being in Vassiliki a short drive (4.5 Km) away. Konterena has a unique and special climate making the summer cooler and the spring and autumn months milder. The traditional construction and character has been carefully maintained with the original stone walls up to 1 metre thick in places. Everything has not been restored but the kitchen and bathrooms are modern with all new fittings. There is private parking for two cars.On the ground floor is a well appointed kitchen with eating area, lounge room, opening to a large outdoor terrace, bedroom and a bathroom with toilet and wash basin. Kambos Apartments
Kambos apartments are situated just 150 meters from the famous windsurfing beach of Vassiliki in the south of Lefkas. Our apartments are of the highest standard and were built in 2003. The beautiful surrounding area is ideal for both mountain biking and walking as the Vassiliki valley has many tracks and paths for exploring. As the sun goes down there are several bars and tavernas in the area perfect for enjoying an aperitif and before dinner.
