The villages and the beaches of Kythira were so beautiful!! Nightlife is calm but there aren't many places to go. Whenever you are, the view and the people make your holiday a dream! Food was really good and clean. Definetely swim at Chalkos, which is trully picturesque but be careful on the road.... More >

The beauty of the Island is in its rugged beauty / simplicity and not at all as busy commercial as other tourist islands. The food in the tavernas at Agia Pelagia was remarkably delicious. I went to Kythira in Greece with my sister and a friend;
we stayed at a camping which was in the village of Kapsali, near to town (1 kilometre by foot); the camping was great: shadowed, with various amenities and cheap.
