Kythira Villages: Livadi village in Kythira Livadi Village Kythira: This village is on the central road, 5 kilometres from Hora. It is now the most important commercial centre of Kythira, offering hotels, restaurants, gas station, many shops, cafeterias, cars and motorbikes rentals, rooms for rent, bakeries and travel agencies. The churches of Agios Andreas (15th century) and the Panagia of Konteletou, built in 1551, are interesting sites to see in Livadi. Both have fine frescoes and an amazing view of the sea. Many well-preserved country houses of the gentry of Hora, built mostly under English domination are also very interesting to see.
