General information

Kaladi Beach Kythira: Kaladi beach is a pure marvel that every tourist should seek in Kythira. It is located 15 km north of Chora, the island's capital and close to Paleopolis. The small beautiful beach consists of pebbles and an enchanting rocky landscape. Its wonderful crystal clear waters and superb caves surround this stunning cove which is an ideal destination for swimming and diving.

There are no tourist facilities apart from some natural shaded spots to protect you from the summer sun. It can get quite crowded in the peak season especially with young people who enjoy dives from the rocks.

    Most Popular Beach
Kaladi is the most popular beach of Kythira, so I'm not sure why the description for the beach says that it is rarely visited and that you go there if you want peace.

The beach is certainly beautiful, has three parts and enough space for everyone.

There are beach accessories during summer, but no beach facilities.
You cannot access the beach by car and have to walk several minutes down nicely constructed path.
Most beaches on Kythira have very deep waters, so it's not really an island for kids.
