Kefalonia for Corelli

Kefalonia Review:
When I saw the movie ?Captain Corelli?s Mandolin? (with Nicolas Cage and Penelope Cruz) I decided I had to go to this wonderful place called Kefalonia.
At first sight I was a bit disappointed by the town and port because it wasn?t like in the movie. Then I learned that the island was stroked by an earthquake in the fifties and that they had reconstruct everything especially for the movie.
Fortunately I visited a few lovely villages which escaped from the earthquake and I could see the traditional architecture of Kefalonia. The thing that was as I expected (and even better) was the wonderful beaches of the island. They are so beautiful especially Myrtos. I hope that the inhabitants of the island understand what treasure they have...
