On the north of Kefalonia, I found two stunning beaches. The first, Emblisi, was approached down a side road, outside the village of Fiscardo. Our hotel was close to the beach of Xi, so we frequently visited this gorgeous beach. Xi was long and very sandy, in fact its sand was more red and less the typical golden sand. Myrtos: one of the best beaches I have ever been. I have travelled to many exotic islands but haven't found such crystal water. You could see the bottom of the sea even after hours of swimming. What a beach! I was there in june 2007 and i will come back to swim there in 2008 again :-) Kefalonia has so beautiful beaches. One of these beaches is Petani.
