 Among 812 wines that were tasted in the 9th International Wine Competition that took place in Thessaloniki, Northern Greece, a few days ago, the Kefalonian wine "San Gerassimo" took the silver medal, proving once more the high quality of the island's wine. This eminence is very important as this is the only international wine competition that is held in Greece. The wine "san Gerassimo" is produced by the Agricultural Association of Robola Producers of Kefalonia and has also gained prizes in other competitions. It is also worth to mention that the golden medal of the 9th International Wine Competition was given to Santorini island for Vinsanto wine.
