Wonderful Assos
Just got back from a wonderful, restful seven days in Assos. We stayed at the Cavos Inn and what an absolutle treasure of a place. Location is perfect as to sit and view the wonderful scenery whilst enjoying your breakfast is something my wife and I will look back on with great pleasure. Local tavernas are all good to dine at and the North Restaurant was especially a lovely , friendly place to view Assos from and enjoy really good Greek coooking at its best, plus Plantanos ( I think that's how it's spelt) must also be considered. A really nice wine bar with lovely seating is also in the Paris Square and a perfect place for a cocktail or coffee to finish off the evening.
I have been to only three island in Greece and Assos in Kefalonia with its breathtaking views from all angles has to be the loveliest place of them all.
