if Kefalonia is a big island, its shops are not very
varied and mostly propose local products and jewels.
Most of the shops of the island are located in the capital,
Argostoli, on Lithostratos Street. This pedestrian road
is boarded, on both sides, by many shops and cafes.
There is also where the post office and banks are standing.
Shops are open 6 days a week all day, with a break between
2 pm and 5 pm and, on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday,
they stay open only until 3 pm. Touristy shops (with
souvenirs and items for the beach) are open 7 days a
week, all day long (until 11 or 12 pm).
