Sami is by far the best village to visit on Kefalonia. At first, we stayed in Argostoli but when we visited Sami, a couple of days later, we decided to change our accomodation and move to this nice village. I mostly loved the waterfront and the small taverns by the sea. I liked meat pie and kalamarakia. Mr Giorgos owns the tavern "Geia sou" in Sami and makes the best kontosoufli ever!! Although this is pork meat and it was not appropriate for summer food, we ate it with delight!!
