The Trip: I arrived on the island by plane and boat. The trip was good with delays. The bus from Athens till the port was delayed
Reasons for going to Kefalonia: Own interest
Idea about Kefalonia before arriving: Not too much of an idea just what i found online and from my travel agent.
Favorite things about the island of Kefalonia
- Best Beaches: Myrtos
- Best villages: Agia Efimia, Sami
- Best Activity: swimming
Negative opinion about Kefalonia island
In Agia Efimia in the restaurant captain Corelli the food is very good but there is a waiter that is extremely rude, awful! Scares the people
Recommendations for future visitors
Just enjoy it, everything is very beautiful, don’t waste your time going to Argostoli, nothing to see
Rating of the overall quality/organization/services of this island/area in comparison with other countries

Whilst I agree with most of the review, I disagree with views on Argostoli, it is definately worth a visit especially in the evening when there is a selection of restaurants/bars to suit most tastes, I particularly like sitting at the tables of the Italian restaurant in the main square where you can dine al fresco watching the Greek families taking their evening stroll.
