Fell in love with Kefalonia

Kefalonia Review:
I went to Kefalonia for the first time in 2005. I only stayed for five days. Not enough time to explore the island!!
Went back in 2006 for 3 weeks!! The island is very big and you need time to explore it. I fell in love with Kefalonia and didn't want to leave. It is paradise!
The beaches are so beautiful. Every beach I went to had its own beauty, and one was so diferent than the other! Only complaint is I wish there were more bar/restaurants on the beach. The food is great, but in my opinion you should try little local taverns rather than the popular tourist restaurants. Nightlife is very quiet. It is nice to go for a drink in Argostoli but you really can not go clubbing.
People there are very nice. Although I've heard from some locals that they don't want the island to be full of tourist, that is why the nightlife is so limited. Either way, if you want to relax and feel like you are in Paradise you should definetly visit this island.
