Our hotel was close to the beach of Xi, so we frequently visited this gorgeous beach. Xi was long and very sandy, in fact its sand was more red and less the typical golden sand. It would get very busy from noon till late in the evening, so we mostly went in the morning and then had the afternoon off to go sightseeing. There were so many umbrellas that you don't need to carry your own facilities. The water was quite shallow and kids will love this beach, s they will make lots of sand castles.
