Kefalonia: Xi Beach Kefalonia

Xi Kefalonia: Xi beach is definitely one of the most well-known beaches in Kefalonia. It distinguishes for the white rocky hills that surround the beach and the special red color of the sand. It is located 40km from Argostoli and 10km from Lixouri. The beach took its name from the cove that looks like the letter x from the Greek alphabet.

The beach is very organized with straw umbrellas and sundecks. There is a beach bar offering cold drinks and snacks and a water sports center. The shallow waters and the gentle waves are ideal for the children. Around the area, you will find many taverns, rooms to rent and small shops. The beach is easily accessed by car or public buses from Lixouri.
