Kefalonia Lagadakia beach

Praised for its otherworldly natural beauty, the beach destination of Lagadakia is a semi-secluded gem of Kefalonia! Located near the town of Lixouri, it boasts crystal-clear turquoise waters and a pebble-filled shore and seabed with some rock formations poking through the sea. Ideal for snorkeling trips, Lagadakia is a preference amongst the local residents and the frequent visitors of the island!

A semi-organized beach, Lagadakia hosts a beach bar-canteen that offers refreshments and snacks throughout the day, as well as an outdoor rinse shower and a WC room. The beach provides limited natural shading (from the large rocks surrounding Lagadakia) and no sunbeds to rent, though it tends to be quite populated during the hot summer months. In addition, keep in mind that its waters rarely get warm due to currents traveling constantly through the seabed!
