Eglina Kefalonia: On the southwestern coast of Kefalonia is the sandy beach of Eglina. The beach is a cove of 100mts length separated from the nearby sand stretches by dense rock outcrops.

This idle sand beach is not so tourist developed but is perfect for a secluded relaxed stay. It lies very close to the beginning of the runway and can be reached by the road from Svoronata to Minies bay.
 
Minies village has a mini market and a tavern. You may have to bring your own umbrella or else rent one from the longer and better equipped beach of Megas Amos beyond the rocks. Small boats are available to ride along the shallow calm water, while snorkeling is popular near the rocks.
